Quality Assurance Supervisor - 3rd Shift At Nestlé Health Science, we believe that nutrition, science, and wellness must merge, not collide. Position Summary:

As a Quality Supervisor, you’ll lead daily quality activities on the production floor, ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGMPs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects and resolve quality challenges.

Work Schedule:

Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 pm – 7:30 am

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor daily quality activities of Quality Leads and floor inspectors.

Resolve quality issues and support the quality management system compliance.

Ensure processes and records meet SOPs, collaborating with Operations and R&D as needed.

Implement necessary changes with cross-functional teams in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate attendance records and file proper reports.

Supervise, counsel, and coach associates; train factory team members in Quality and Food Safety.

Train QA Floor Inspectors on SOPs and understand equipment, commissioning, and sanitation requirements.

Identify efficiency issues and develop solutions.

Report audits, the Glass and Hard Plastic, and drive problem‑solving for assigned areas.

Ensure timely closure of deviations and CAPAs.

Report quality metrics in DDS meetings and investigate causes of quality deficiencies and customer concerns.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Lead continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related field (preferred).

5+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of FDA regulations for GMP of dietary supplements and foods.

Experience with Food Safety plans/HACCP and GFSI (plus).

Problem‑solving and statistical skills using quality tools (Pareto analysis, SPC, DOE, etc.).

Computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, statistics).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with known allergens, especially fish and shellfish.

Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, and bend in a manufacturing environment.

Exposure to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, shellfish) may occur.

The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. Final compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
