and play a vital role in supporting our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operations.
About the Role As an Endoscopy Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients, rooms, and equipment for endoscopy procedures. You’ll work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and effective procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of equipment and supplies to ensure readiness.
Clean and prepare patient rooms and scopes for procedures.
Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopy procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
Monitor emergency equipment location and ensure readiness.
Support quality improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education : Associate Degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience : At least one year of related experience preferred.
Skills : Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and ability to work in a team environment.
Adaptability : Responds effectively to changing environments and demands.
Attention to Detail : Ensures precision in patient care and equipment preparation.
Teamwork : Collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care.
Safety & Compliance : Practices infection control and follows all safety protocols.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 25 lbs).
Periods of sitting for administrative tasks.
Clinical setting with moderate noise levels.
OSHA Category A: Employees in this role will be offered Hepatitis B vaccination.
Compensation
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Monday through Friday
Pay grade 21 $21.50/hour minimum
$25.31/hour maximum
Pay commensurate with education and experience
