and play a key role in providing high-quality patient care in our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
About the Role As a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy unit, you will provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures. You will support physicians and technicians, ensure patient safety, and deliver excellent care with professionalism and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
Perform admission, endoscopy, or recovery nursing duties as assigned.
Provide emotional support and clear explanations to patients about their procedures.
Administer medications following protocol and assist during procedures.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and notify physicians as needed.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their time in the ASC.
Participate in unit quality improvement activities and training.
Maintain proper use of emergency equipment and infection control protocols obtenu.
Assist with special projects and assignments as needed.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; graduate study preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of three years in a medical/surgical setting required.
Endoscopy experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications :
Active Maine Registered Nursing license.

Current BLS and ACLS certification (required).
CGRN certification encouraged.
Adaptability : Ability to manage changes and competing demands.
Clinical Knowledge : Strong skills in patient care, medication administration, and procedure support.
Problem-Solving : Quick decision‑making to ensure patient safety.
Patient Interaction : Compassionate and professional communication with patients and families.
Safety & Compliance : Adormasyon adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Clinical setting with extended periods of standing and patient interaction.
Occasional lifting/moving of up to 25 pounds.
OSHA Category A: Employees in this role will be offered Hepatitis B vaccination.
Compensation
Pay grade 27
$36.50/hour minimum
$42.78/hour maximum
Pay is commensurate with education and experience
