PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: 100% Adult Admissions: 78 per day Discharges: Approximately 5 per day Case Mix: General Hospitalist with ICU co-management as needed
FACILITY INFORMATION Beds in Facility: 100 total beds ICU Beds: 12 Support Staff: Full hospital staff with ICU team available EMR System: Cerner PROCEDURES & SKILLS REQUIRED EKG interpretation Conscious and deep sedation Non-invasive ventilation management Ventilation management (acute and chronic) Intubation (ENT/INT) Chest tube placement Central line placement Arterial line placement PA catheter placement PICC line placement ADDITIONAL DETAILS Responds to codes Must be prepared to step in and provide follow-up care as needed Will co-manage ICU patients with intensivist when required Primarily responsible for admissions and follow-up on own patients Patients handed off to nocturnist; daytime rounding hospitalists resume care

JOB REQUIREMENTS Active MO medical license Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine BLS and ACLS required
