What You’ll Do As an Industrial Dock & Door Field Technician you will work with warehouse/commercial doors, loading docks, dock levelers and related industrial equipment at customer locations. Your responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure peak performance and maximum uptime. You may also perform welding, steel fabrication, and electrical work as needed, while traveling the area in a full‑loaded Pape’ service vehicle and interacting with customers.
What You Need
3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing industrial doors or related equipment.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Basic computer knowledge.
Self‑motivation and the ability to work with little or no supervision.
Excellent communication and customer‑relations skills.
Problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to think through complex situations critically.
Driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must provide own tools.
Compensation $26.98-36.98/hr (Depending on Experience)
