Full‑time position, 42.5 hours per week within the store opening hours, Monday to Sunday, 6:00 am‑11:00 pm. Opening, closing and weekend shifts will be expected. Working hours and shift patterns can be discussed in interview.

A look into the role Reporting to the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager, you will help lead the store team to provide a shopping experience that exceeds customers’ expectations and positively impacts the local community.

As Team Leader you will

Work alongside the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager to set and enforce store policies, standards and practices.

Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders (includes keyholder responsibility).

Serve as a positive role model and represent our values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity.

Train, manage workload and support the team, ensuring resources are in the right place at the right time to deliver the best customer experience.

Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance, including implementing the store plan and priorities.

Actively promote and participate in initiatives that support the local community.

Cover the Post Office when required as part of the role.

Skills for Success Joining us as Team Leader, you’ll need:

Be aged 18 years or over and have prior retail experience of at least 6 months at a supervisory level leading a team in a customer‑focused environment.

Possess excellent listening, interaction and communication skills with customers and team members.

Be target‑driven and focused on continuous improvement to help the store achieve its business plans and priorities.

Inspire everyone to do their best for each other and the customer.
