Job Description We are seeking an experienced Unanet System Administrator and Business Analyst to support our growing federal contracting healthcare IT consulting firm. This role serves as the primary Unanet expert—responsible for system administration, reporting, and workforce planning analytics. You will ensure data integrity, build and maintain custom reports and dashboards, and partner closely with leadership across finance, operations, and delivery to enable data‑driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain user roles, permissions, and security settings
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Unanet support as needed
Manage configurations for projects, labor categories, indirect cost structures, and billing setups
Monitor and manage system upgrades and data integrity
Design, build, and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Unanet’s reporting tools
Support monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc reporting needs across finance and operations
Assist with time and expense compliance reporting, utilization, project burn, and backlog
Support capacity and resource planning models in Unanet
Collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs and assess resource gaps
Provide analysis on headcount, billability, and pipeline‑to‑staffing alignment
Partner with Finance on month‑end close, project profitability analysis, and compliance reporting
Train internal stakeholders on Unanet reporting and system use as needed
Required Skills And Experience
3–5+ years of Unanet administration experience (administrating a different GovCon ERP such as Deltek/Costpoint may be considered)
Strong understanding of federal contracting financials, indirect rates, and timekeeping compliance (e.g., DCAA standards)
Advanced skills in Unanet reporting, data exports, and dashboarding
Experience with workforce planning, resource management, or capacity modeling a plus
Familiar with third‑party client time‑keeping systems (e.g., Setris)
Comfortable managing system settings, user roles, and troubleshooting system issues
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT, or related field preferred
Strong Excel/data skills required

Salary at S&P is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 (annualized USD). This represents the estimated salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Additionally, S&P’s total compensation package also includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401K, holidays, and paid time off. This posting will remain open for 30 days or until filled.
