Overview GCG is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Supervisor to join our Shipping and Receiving team in our Leominster, MA facility! In this role, you will be responsible for directing the work activities of shipping and receiving personnel to receive, ship, transport, stock and store materials in warehouse and floor locations, as well as maintaining accurate records of all warehousing materials and activities. In addition, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for traffic management.

What You’ll Do

Direct activities and plan resources for warehouse activities

Allocate resources to the job activities required to meet the daily warehouse demand

Ensure all receiving and shipping activities are completed for the day

Ensure daily cycle counts are conducted and communicated to the appropriate functions

Provide the support and assistance to the shippers and receivers in an effort to increase their knowledge of inventory control to ensure Inventory Record Accuracy is understood, practiced and improved

Work with Production to ensure high quality service level of warehouse inputs and outputs are maintained

Plan and arrange the transportation services for the division’s freight in accordance with corporate requirements

Work with re‑cyclers and waste management to remove waste (corrJune, scrap metal, etc.)

Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment

Communicate safety, quality and performance expectations continually with your reports

Assess performance of warehouse personnel and communicate this to the Director of Operations

Assure conformance to ISO 9001‑2015

Member of MRB team after 6 六 months in position, if required

Maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Complete all corporate safety and loss prevention training as required

Train employees requiring a fork truck, Wave Picker, and Zamboni license per corporate safety policy

Maintain safety and loss prevention documentation and logs as required

What You’ll Bring

3+ years’ supervisory experience in Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Inventory Control, and Traffic Management

Demonstrated experience with UPS, Fed‑Ex and export shipping

Basic Microsoft Office (Excel) and computer literacy skills

Experience using an ERP system

Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills

Ability to meet Jok productivity standards, manage time effectively, and complete tasks in a timely manner

Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and maintain consistent performance under varying conditions

Ability to follow safety protocols, report concerns, and reliably adhere to work schedules and upper management instructions

Must be able to routinely stand, walk, bend and lift

Experience utilizing forklifts, fork trucks, Wave Pickers, and Zambonis

Technical knowledge or experience in cable, harness assembly, and electronic components/systems is a plus

ISO 9001 experience is a plus
