Vascular Ultrasound Technologist – Mass General Brigham Join us as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist at Mass General Brigham located at North Shore Medical Center, Inc. (81 Highland Avenue). The role involves performing vascular ultrasound examinations on patients, preparing patients, operating equipment, interpreting images, and documenting findings.

Location & Work Hours Location: North Shore Medical Center, Inc., 81 Highland Avenue.

Work Schedule: 24 hours per week, Day shift (United States). Onsite only.

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $29.23 – $44.48 per hour. Minimum hourly rate $42.38. Sign‑On Bonus: $20,000. Full benefits, free parking, and other incentives.

Job Summary Responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations on patients. This includes preparing patients for exams, operating ultrasound equipment, and interpreting ultrasound images.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

Prepare patients for vascular ultrasound exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and applying gel to the skin.

Operate ultrasound equipment, such as transducers and monitors, to produce images of blood vessels.

Interpret ultrasound images to identify vascular abnormalities.

Document exam findings in the patient's medical record.

Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers about exam findings.

Qualifications Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required. No experience in lieu of degree.

Licenses & Credentials:

Sonographer [State License] (Generic – HR Only preferred)

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (preferred)

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – ARDMS (preferred)

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) – ARDMS (preferred)

Certified Sonographer – ARDMS (preferred)

Experience Prior experience working in a similar role: 2–3 years required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Experience with vascular ultrasound equipment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail.
