Patient Access Rep I - REMOTE - (Must Reside in FL)
Join us as a Patient Access Rep I at Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for scheduling appointments for all FOI patients in an accurate, professional manner.
Register all new patients in the computer system by obtaining patient demographics and insurance information.
Schedule appointments according to patient need and physician protocol.
Handle requests for add‑on appointments immediately according to physician protocols.
Update established patient insurance as needed.
Verify all established patient personal information and insurance information as needed.
Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
All other duties as assigned.
About You
High School Diploma
2 years of experience in a medical environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Able to multi‑task and handle a high volume of calls
Intermediate data entry skills
Nice‑to‑Have
High volume call center experience
Athena EMR experience
