Position Summary The Patient Access Representative I will manage all new patient registrations, schedule appointments, and ensure compliance with all company plans, policies, and procedures. The position requires a high level of customer service, organization, and the ability to manage high call volumes.
Key Responsibilities
Register new patients in the computer system by collecting demographics, insurance info, and referral source; update records from prior visits as needed.
Handle all scheduling requests in accordance with physician and authorization protocols.
Ensure compliance with all company plans, policies, and procedures.
Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school graduate.
At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment.
Experience with registration, scheduling, and healthcare benefits is helpful.
Excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
Detail‑oriented with strong typing skills in a Windows‑based environment.
