We are looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support a patient who relies on a G‑tube, trach, and vent. The position is located in Seaside, CA. Seniority level: Entry level. Employment type: Part‑time. Job function: Health Care Provider. Schedule & Pay

Tuesday‑Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate:

Active, unencumbered California LVN license Current CPR certification with hands‑on component Tuberculin skin test 2‑step, current within last 12 months One year of prior hands‑on nursing experience Reliable transportation Proficiency in clinical assessment, documentation, and compliance with nursing care policies and procedures Continuing education as required by the state Essential Job Functions

Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders Observe and assess patient condition continuously, reporting changes to supervisor or physician as appropriate Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner as care is delivered Participate in, implement, and update nursing care plans Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessment to achieve outcomes Recognize changes in patient needs and intervene to prevent or reduce risk Maintain personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act Use infection control measures per OSHA standards Educate patient and family on disease process, self‑care techniques, and prevention strategies Maintain knowledge of nursing competencies through education and skill evaluations Additional State‑Specific Requirements

California – One year of experience working under current nursing license Preferences

Six months of recent experience as a licensed nurse in a clinical care setting Home health experience Other Skills & Abilities

Attention to detail Time management Effective problem‑solving and conflict resolution Good organization and communication skills Physical & Environmental Requirements

Speak, read, write, and understand English Travel ability Lift up to 50 pounds Reposition patients and move equipment without assistance Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting Climb stairs and sit as needed Visual and hearing acuity; strong sense of smell and touch Respond physically and mentally to emergency situations in the home or during transport Work in varied environments, possible exposure to allergens, blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases Other Duties
