Responsibilities
Collect and analyze data to identify expected outcomes for observation and medical/surgical patients.
Develop and prioritize the plan of care to attain measurable goals.
Implement interventions identified and evaluate the results, especially in relation to Critical Care patients (whichever applies).
Identify educational needs, implement and evaluate learning, and document patient/family education.
Demonstrate critical thought and judgment in the delivery of care related to Critical care patients.
Deliver medications based upon continual assessment, safety and evaluation of patient response.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required or must be currently enrolled.
Current RN license in Texas and/or current Compact License.
1 year current L&D experience required.
Current BCLS Certification Required.
Current ACLS and NRP Certifications Required.
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring course within 90 days of hire date.

The women’s department includes labor, delivery and recovery in a home‑like setting, and a C‑section operating room is on standby 24 hours a day.
