The Warehouse Associate / Relief Driver provides excellent customer service by ensuring prompt delivery of customer orders. Additionally, they execute all responsibilities related to customer orders with a focus on safety and timeliness. Additionally, they serve as a Warehouse Associate during periods of call offs, vacation or as needed.

Job Requirements 1. Load truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries.
2. Unload truck as needed at customer locations.
3. Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries.
4. Perform vehicle inspection as required. Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.
5. Follow Company GMP’s and occupational safety policies to ensure compliance.
6. Follow all food safety principles and legal requirements.
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
8. Required to assist in pulling orders and working in the warehouse as needed.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications A. High school diploma or equivalent.
B. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum of 5 years with no incidents).
C. Must be at least 21 years old.
D. Ability to read and process invoices.
E. Knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations, including safety and food handling standards.
F. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
G. Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience as a delivery driver; prior experience driving a 26ft box truck is preferred.
H. Ability to pass a DOT physical along with a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
I. Minimum of 1 year experience working as a warehouse associate or similar role.
J. Minimum of 1 year experience operating a sit-down forklift.
K. Ability to obtain forklift certification within a specified time frame and maintain it valid throughout employment.
L. Familiarity with First In, First Out (FIFO) and inventory management procedures.
M. Proficiency with GPS devices and mobile delivery apps.
N. Understanding and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
O. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
P. Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements a. Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
b. Ability to perform tasks such as loading and unloading goods throughout the shift.
c. Capability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
d. Agility to maneuver in varying warehouse environments, including tight spaces and elevated areas.
e. Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift and an electric pallet jack.
f. Ability to handle long periods of driving and sitting.
g. Capacity to handle repetitive motions such as lifting, gripping, and carrying.
h. Ability to climb in and out of vehicles safely and repeatedly.
i. Physical coordination to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, electric pallet jacks) effectively.
j. Visual and auditory ability to operate vehicles and equipment safely.
k. Dexterity to manage various tools and equipment necessary for loading and unloading.
l. Endurance to work in a fast-paced environment and withstand fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
Pay $19 per hour (paid on a bi-weekly basis) (weekend, overtime, holidays as needed).
