Overview
RN - NICU Registered Nurse role at Trinity Health (MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center). Primarily a night shift position with required weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities
Provide care for newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including assessments, monitoring, and administration of medications as part of the patient’s plan of care. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and laboratory personnel to implement the patient’s plan of care. Cross‑train to care for postpartum moms and newborns, as well as patients in the Pediatric department. Requirements / Qualifications
Must become NRP certified within the first six months of employment. Mandatory Reporter, BLS, and PALS certifications required. Willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed (NRP/PALS). Employment Details
Employment type: Full time (as listed in the description). Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift (primarily 1800–0630). Scheduling: Works every third weekend and every third holiday; rotating night shift. About the Employer
