Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care according to Texas Board of Nursing. The RN works in a 167-bed psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care, providing evidence-based treatment and supportive, compassionate care through specialty programs tailored to patients' needs.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of one (1) nursing experience preferred.
Licensure:
Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements:
Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications, have current CPR certification upon hire, and successfully complete Handle With Care orientation.
