Patient Service Representative
Join Solis Mammography in Webster, TX to deliver exceptional patient care. The first point of contact registers patients, collects payments, and supports our Center of Excellence.
Work Location 400 Medical Center Blvd, Suite 100, Webster, TX 77598
Work Hours Full-Time, Monday-Thursday 7:00am-6:30pm, Friday 7:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm (40 hours weekly)
Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact: greet patients, gather demographics, and verify insurance.
Input accurate patient information into RIS and process necessary paperwork.
Explain forms, assist with completion, and maintain confidentiality.
Collect patient payments, process insurance verification, and generate daily invoice journal.
Schedule and reschedule appointments and follow up on outstanding orders.
Participate in front office training to stay abreast of policy and procedures.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
Basic cash handling and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Strong communication skills and ability to read/write simple instructions.
Ability to perform basic calculations and stand for long periods.
Preferred familiarity with RIS software and medical terminology.
A Day in the Life
Register patients with demographics and insurance information.
Explain and assist with form completion via paper or tablet.
Scan documents into RIS and maintain confidentiality.
Collect and explain payments; verify insurance benefits.
Prepare paperwork for future appointments and payors.
Ensure diagnostic orders are submitted and follow up on outstanding requests.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
Generate daily invoice journal and reconcile payments using Daily Reconciliation Report.
Attend front office training and update procedures.
