We are seeking an experienced electrician to maintain, repair, and install electrical systems throughout our facility. This critical role ensures all electrical components and equipment are safe, efficient, and compliant with healthcare and state regulations, supporting a comfortable environment for residents and staff.
Position Summary The Electrician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems throughout the facility. This role ensures that all electrical components, equipment, and systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with healthcare and state regulations, supporting a comfortable and functional environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels, lighting, generators, and control systems.
Install and maintain wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures according to codes and safety standards.
Diagnose and correct electrical malfunctions in facility equipment and systems.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical and safety codes.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime and disruption to operations.
Assist with energy efficiency initiatives and system upgrades.
Maintain accurate service logs and documentation of electrical work performed.
Support the maintenance team with general facility upkeep as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or GED required.
Licensed or certified electrician (state requirements apply).
Minimum of 3 years of electrical maintenance experience (healthcare or commercial environment preferred).
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, systems, and troubleshooting methods.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Familiarity with safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and NFPA standards.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor environments.
