Location Description Hopkins, MN is home to our Michael Foods, Inc. corporate headquarters. Hopkins is located 7 miles west of Minneapolis, boasting natural surroundings in a suburban environment that also provides quick access to major travel ways and local restaurants that give our community a distinct character. Located in the Excelsior Crossing building where employees are provided with beautifully landscaped walking paths and water features creating an optimal environment for outdoor and walking meetings, along with the opportunity to take a relaxing walk or outdoor lunch before, within, or after your work day.

Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Manager is a critical member of the Human Resources team and is responsible for talent acquisition strategy and implementation and execution of hourly recruitment processes and employment programs across the MFI supply chain / operations hourly network. Manages the site HR Recruiters and provides direction and coaching to meet talent performance standards and results. Will partner with leaders and employee groups to add talent acquisition expertise and insights to complement business objectives while acting as a mentor to build recruiting talent.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop hiring, interviewing, and outreach initiatives to find and hire talent.

Oversee the activities of a team of site recruiters including the approval of recruiting activities and events.

Evaluate team members performance and develop team members in use of recruiting platforms and active sourcing techniques.

Track and evaluate hiring metrics for individual recruiters and organizational objectives; collect, report, and analyze metrics related to recruitment efforts; adjust recruitment efforts based on analysis and company needs.

Build strong business partner relationships to innovate, implement, and manage aligned talent management and organization development strategies.

Collaborate with regional and site HR leaders as well as site/operations managers to gain an understanding of hiring needs and gain agreement on initiatives to achieve hiring objectives.

Attract and engage top talent to career opportunities and provide information related to compensation, benefits, policies and procedures to ensure the candidate experience is positive and informative.

Lead and participate in projects to drive business, HR and talent acquisition objectives.

Market employment opportunities by attending career fairs and developing recruitment brochures and materials as needed.

Act as a mentor to HR and other business partners to develop recruiting skills across the organization.

Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar.

5+ years prior recruiting/sourcing experience, preferably in Supply Chain or Manufacturing.

2+ years prior experience in people management and team development.

Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably iCIMS.

Strong written and communication skills.

Ability to strategically plan, execute and pivot quickly as needed.

Ability to analyze data and use it to create insights into actions.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong partnerships with influence and adaptability to different stakeholders.

A creative and strategic view of sourcing and utilization of social media as a recruiting tool.

Highly motivated, results-oriented, resourceful, self-starter with a track record of producing results in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in MS Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Highly organized with an ability to work under tight deadlines and with little direction.

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities.

Ability to travel in the US 25%.

The pay range for this position is $89,506 - $132,468 per year.
