Sr. Design Engineer – Dynamic Engineering
Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC is a national leader in land development consulting with over 350 employees and 15 offices. We serve Fortune 500 dictionary and independent owners and developers of all sizes across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Responsibilities
Review municipal zoning and land‑development ordinances and applicable agency regulations.
Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports, including ordinance review, utility research, agency regulations, and site visits.
Create Conceptual Site Plans.
Develop preliminary Grading Plans and Design.
Design Stormwater Management and Conveyance Systems, Utility Systems, Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Design Plans.
Prepare construction cost estimates.
Prepare project proposals and manage project budgets.
Coordinate projects with clients, other consultants, and team members to produce comprehensive site‑plan بشر .
Produce technical reports including drainage, sanitary sewer, and site‑investigation reports.
Draft written correspondence to outside agencies, client, contractor, etc.
Make presentations to planning and zoning boards, municipal agencies, and project teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
3+ years of experience in Civil Site Engineering ( residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting ).
Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) required.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain/operate personal or company vehicle.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Knowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling software.
In‑depth knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
Knowledge of Hydrologic, Hydraulic, and Stormwater Design.
Strong design and drafting capabilities.
Proficient grading and drainage design skills.
Utility‑design experience including pump stations and force mains.
Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals.
Proficiency with mapping websites for due diligence and site investigation.
Construction support experience.
Proficiency in the use of design tools for site engineering:
AutoCAD Civil3D
Hydrology software (Hydraflow, HydroCAD, PondPack)
Hydraulic software donde herméticos StormCAD, SSA)
HEC‑RAS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and/or Adobe for design document markups.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Team‑oriented leadership with focus on staff development and mentoring.
Client‑management experience.
Compensation Salary range: $85,000–$110,000 per year.
