Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Payroll functions. This role is responsible for day-to-day HR processes, employee record management, onboarding and offboarding support, and coordination of HR programs.

Responsibilities:

Support recruitment efforts including posting jobs, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.

Coordinate onboarding for new hires.

Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems and union database/portal.

Verify employee timesheets for compliance with policies and payroll deadlines.

Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.

Support open enrollment and other annual HR processes.

Process employment changes in coordination with payroll.

Respond to routine employee HR questions and elevate complex issues as appropriate.

Run, validate, audit, and prepare routine HR and payroll reports.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Perform other HR/Payroll duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of HR, administrative, or related experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

High attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.

Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
