Position Overview The Ready‑Mix Driver will be responsible for all duties of the position, including the transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the plant to the job site in a safe manner. This individual will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Experience in ready mixed trucks or other related industry experience preferred.
Work Requirements
Must be 18 years in age or older.
Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Must possess and maintain a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Knowledge/Skill Requirements Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to cope well in stressful environments and communicate professionally.
Demonstrate a hands‑on, collaborative approach; work well in a team and independently.
Ability to read Plant site maps, city street maps and other GPS based equipment information.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic math skills required. Ability to read and interpret mixer truck gauges.
Able to utilize a tablet for load status, time keeping, training and other items.
Demonstrated ability to take guidance and direction from a supervisor.
Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Able to communicate with others by email, telephone and in person.
Regularly able to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Able to frequently stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.
Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp or manipulate switches and controls. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, inclined walkways and access elevated platforms.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, typical seasonal cold and heat temperatures. The employee is exposed to vibration. Theังกร level in the work environment is usually moderate.
