Location: Austin, TX / San Antonio, TX (Potentially Remote)

This role requires an individual with a proven track record in sales and business development within the recruitment industry, particularly in working with government and state-level clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and managing accounts to ensure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new IT staffing clients in the region.
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.
Identify, pursue, and secure opportunities within MSP/VMS programs.
Work closely with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure client requirements are met on time and with quality.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging market intelligence.
Collaborate with leadership to develop pricing strategies, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs.
Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing directly to company growth and expansion.
Required Qualifications
4–7 years of proven experience in
US IT Staffing business development .
Strong understanding of
MSP and VMS ecosystems .
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to establish long-term client relationships and achieve sales goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with
State Government clients .
Familiarity with
Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR)
contracts.
Existing client relationships or network in Texas public sector or enterprise organizations.
