Base pay:
$36.00/hr - $45.00/hr. Salary based on skills and experience.

OCN Incentive Pay
is also available for nurses with OCN certification after 90 days of employment or upon obtaining certification.
Responsibilities
Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under physician supervision.
Maintain knowledge of drug reimbursement procedures and complete all chemotherapy charge forms.
Ensure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to therapy.
Use and maintain ambulatory infusion pumps, clean pumps after use, and document usage.
Facilitate dose modification by assessing patients, labs, treatment plans, calculating doses, and consulting physicians.
Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.
Administer all medications correctly by dosage, route, time, and technique.
Prospectively educate patients and caregivers in using infusion pumps at home.
Document nursing assessments, patient teaching, fluid, and medication administration in the chart.
Communicate all pertinent information and interventions to physicians.
Triage patient phone calls and record relevant information in the chart.
Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program (BSN preferred).
RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must meet continuing education requirements.
Minimum two years of nursing experience required, oncology experience preferred.
Working Conditions Possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other oncology clinic conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Physical Requirements Full range of body motion; handling and lifting patients; manual and finger dexterity; eye‑hand coordination; standing and walking for extended periods; occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs; corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Pre‑Employment Requirements All qualified candidates must pass a background check and a non‑federal drug test (excluding marijuana) before hire. Candidates must provide proof of influenza vaccination unless an accommodation is granted in accordance with applicable law.
