Responsibilities
Provide a well-stocked and well-maintained department while providing superior customer service.
Stock and properly rotate products on a daily basis, while maintaining all department and safety/sanitation standards.
Upon eligibility, become an Owner in the company—a commitment to hard work and quality customer service.
Manage stock rotations, inventory control, loading/unloading, and product movement.
Organize, clean, and prepare back area for night crew and incoming trucks.
Ensure integrity of shelf tags and signage; create/prepare signage as needed.
Maintain standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation.
Check shipments for out-of-date and damaged product to ensure freshness.
Build, stock, maintain, and take down store displays.
Perform duties of Customer Service Assistant as needed.

What is the work? Stocking
Stocks and rotates items as needed.

Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales.
Food Safety / Sanitation
Cleans and sanitizes sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment.
Properly handles and maintains the operation of all equipment.
Complies with departmental SOPs and store operating procedures.

Beauty : Knowledge of beauty and cosmetic aids.
Drugstore / General Merchandise : Prepares tags and signs as needed.
