Dock Worker / Forklift Operator – Part-Time

Job Description Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers, moving cargo, driving a forklift, or using a pallet jack or other freight handling equipment for transit. Effectively and efficiently operating mobile technology and completing all required paperwork.
Responsibilities
Effectively operate mobile technology.
Move cargo, drive a forklift or use a pallet jack or other freight handling equipment.
Load and unload trailers for the purpose of transporting a wide variety of cargo.
Prepare wide varieties of freight for transit.
Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location.
Complete all required paperwork.
Equipment – Preventive Maintenance Program for all ABF equipment.
Requirements
Casual position – willing to work evenings, weekends, and as needed.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Stable work record with a good safety record.
Pass pre-employment drug screen and post-offer company physical.
Shift days and hours may include days, nights, and/or weekends; must be able to work required hours at location.
Work Hours
Schedule may vary depending on Service Center location.
Travel Requirements
Minimal (0–25%)
Compensation
Hourly position paid weekly.
