Autism Clinician – UCFS Healthcare UCFS is seeking a full‑time licensed or license‑eligible clinician with a BAND completed Master’s degree to provide clinical services for children and families at our Autism Center. The role focuses on behavioral, substance abuse, psychiatric, or emotional needs through the development and implementation of clinical assessments, treatment plans, and discharge plans.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide client‑centered clinical assessment and treatment consistent with evidence‑based practices and quality standards of care.

Asses level of risk and appropriate level of care for routine and emergency clients of all ages, including those presenting in crisis with complex and long‑term mental health or substance abuse issues.

Offer on‑call support on site during operating hours for connected and non‑connected clients, including arranging referrals, responding to emergencies, reporting suspected child abuse/neglect to DCFишта, and adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

Participate in clinical supervision, maintain open communication with supervisors and support staff, coordinate treatment with psychiatrists, and actively work toward obtaining professional licensure.

Coordinate services with relevant providers (e.g., school personnel, Department of Children and Families, courts) and support collaboration with other professionals.

Requirements

Master’s degree in MA, MFT, MSW, or equivalent.

Preferred: LCSW; additional training in ADOS is a strong plus.

CT state licensure eligibility for LCSW, LMFT, LPC.

Strong computer skills, including effective use of EPIC (our electronic health record system).
