This job will be located in New York City and the position will be based in a fast-paced environment with multiple requests coming in on a daily basis.**Responsibilities:*** Responsible for accurately submitting/verifying custom orders with vendors within a specified time-frame* Oversee the Special/Custom Order Process start to finish* Calculate and quote prices* Interact with both the vendors and the customers on a regular basis* Custom Order Specialist checks the status of orders, maintains quoted time frames, and handles any potential issues**Requirements:*** Must have 1+ yrs jewelry industry experience* Must have 1+ yrs of experience with custom jobs* Must have basic understanding of placing CAD requests with designers, vendors and knowledge of reading CAD to get cost for pieces* Must be able to pass knowledge assessment during interview process* Excellent communication skills* Knowledgeable in Excel* Knowledgeable in Photoshop* Ability to work well with a team of diverse personalities* Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing a plus* Must be able to travel to shows a minimum of three times per year* Must Live in New York Tri-State area**What We Offer:**We offer an amazing culture!
