Senior Accountant
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast‑paced, growing organization. You will be working closely with our financial team, playing a pivotal role in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This role requires a high level of financial acumen, attention to detail, andocimiento of project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax accounting laws and regulations and a proven track record of managing multiple projects.
Base Pay Range $65,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with the established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention.
Review all inter‑company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Coordinate semi‑annual audits and assist the CFO with conducting audits.
Conduct regular ledger maintenance.
Adhere to the company’s financial policies and procedures.
Attend finance department and company‑wide meetings, sometimes assisting withsubmission of financial reporting to managers and senior executives.
Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
5+ years’ experience in general or tax accounting.
Experience with computerized ledger systems. DIY
Advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for both general ledger and statutory accounting.
Strong Excel skills.
Excellent problem‑solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
