Dishwasher/Steward – Part‑Time – St. James Hotel
The St. James Hotel is an iconic boutique hotel offering modern conveniences and Victorian charm, providing luxurious amenities and culinary delights delivered by remarkable hospitality professionals.
Salary: $11.54 – $15.07 per hour (depending on qualifications). Part‑time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) match, employee discounts, and well‑being resources.
Primary Responsibilities
Sweep and mop the entire kitchen, dish areas, restaurant line, banquet areas, and walk‑in coolers.
Clean china, silverware, and glassware using dishwashers or hand washing as needed.
Wash and clear counters, shelves, and queen blocks.
Wash dish area and kitchen mats.
Assist cooks with set‑up and breakdown, ensuring overall cleanliness.
Monitor trash and recycling levels, removing waste when necessary.
Wash pots and pans, scrubbing kettles and skillets, and return them to their proper places after cleaning.
Qualifications Enjoy working as part of a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. We will provide training.
