Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
I’m partnered with the VP of Finance & Controller at a Global, ~$500M Manufacturing Organization, an industry leader, looking to add a Staff Accountant to their Accounting & Finance team. Located near Carol Stream, IL, they seek an Accountant with a background in the Manufacturing Industry or Public Accounting, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and strong critical thinking skills to improve internal controls and processes. Responsibilities
Maintain general ledger entries and perform account reconciliations
Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
Reconcile bank and financial accounts
Support payroll processing and related journal entries
Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting
Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
Automate routine accounting tasks and enhance data workflows
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
1–3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization and/or public accounting firm
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting standards
Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
