The Driver – SCM is responsible for driving a tractor‑trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over‑the‑road (OTR), shuttle, overnight and drive‑and‑drop routes. The driver delivers and/or unloads food and food‑related products to customers safely and timely, following Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Performance Food Group safety standards. Responsibilities

Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) according to DOT regulations. Report all safety issues and follow all DOT and company safe driving guidelines. Inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight. Perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices. Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly. Move tractor to loading dock and attach the preloaded trailer. Drive to and deliver customer orders according to the predetermined route schedule. Unload products, move items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks. Verify delivery of items, obtain signatures, collect money (cash or checks) when required, and load customer returns onto trailer. Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured. Unload damaged goods, customer returns, and trash from trailers as required. Maintain daily record of hours of service in log per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements. Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clean. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. 12+ months commercial tractor/trailer experience. Valid CDL‑A and must be 21+ years of age. Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable). Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years. Pass post‑offer drug test and road test. Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure new DOT Health Card. Able to hand‑lift and use two‑wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight ranging from 10‑35 pounds up to 60‑90 pounds during shift. Company Description
