Join the excitement of the CSUSB Game Day Pack! CSUSB is currently seeking Game Operations student assistants to help with a variety of game management duties including set‑up, execution, and breakdown of athletic contests; marketing; and sports information/broadcasting.
Student assistants will work during games operating the scoreboard, ball shagging, floor sweeping, running the ticket box office, playing game music, etc. Aber plus they will assist in assigned duties that help other departments facilitate game‑day operations, including marketing, media relations, sports information, broadcasting, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Game Management Assistance
Set‑up and tear down of all home athletic events and/or hospitality areas
Ticket taking
Ushering and field/court security
Fieldinderung staff (ball shaggers, scoreboard assistants, floor sweepers)
Possibility of assisting with mascot appearances
Assist with Terraflex Floor assembly
Other duties as assigned
Marketing Assistance
Marketing campaigns and content strategies
Tabling on‑campus during campus events and special promotions
Special events and ceremonies
Hand‑out giveaways
Other duties as assigned
Sports Information Broadcast Assistance
Set‑up and break‑down of cameras, switchers, audio and other broadcast equipment for Athletics Events
Camera operation
Broadcast software graphics
Troubleshooting equipment and maintaining broadcast quality
Ensure smooth pre‑game, live, and post‑game workflows
Perform routine equipment checks
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
Special qualification: admission or registration as a CSU student.
Required Qualifications
Maintain a 2.0 GPA or greater per semester and cumulative.
Students must be enrolled in at least halftime units at CSUSB (6 units undergraduate; 3 units graduate).
International students must have full‑time enrollment at CSUSB (12 units undergraduate; 6 units graduate).
Eligible to work in the United States.
Payroll requirement: Social Security Card.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Sports/NCAA rules and practices.
ternals Ability to learn and perform assigned work and follow oral instructions.
Flexibility to work weekday afternoons, nights, and weekends.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Compensation and Benefits Student Employment Anticipated Hiring Range: $16.90 per hour.
The compensation offered will consider internal equity and experience among other factors.

Academic year available hours Monday through Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm).
Summer available hours Monday through Thursday (7:00 am – 5:30 pm).
