Commercial Construction Project Manager

Compensation:
Up to $140,000 Base + Bonus + Full Benefits

$40M – $100M | Broad Commercial Construction
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Commercial Construction Project Manager
to lead large-scale commercial projects throughout the Austin market. This role is responsible for full lifecycle project execution — from preconstruction through close-out — on complex, schedule-driven projects with budgets ranging from
$40 million to $100 million .
The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen, proven leadership in the field and office, and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and scope coordination
Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
Monitor project financials including buyouts, change orders, billings, and cost reporting
Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with schedule and budget
Review RFIs, submittals, and change management processes
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control requirements, and project specifications
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Drive client satisfaction through clear communication and accountability

Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial construction projects
Proven experience managing projects in the
$40M–$100M
range
Strong understanding of construction means and methods
Experience with cost control, scheduling, and contract management
Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple stakeholders
Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary up to $140,000
(depending on experience)
