使用 Join WVU Medicine as a PRN Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The nurse will have authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care, applying competent clinical knowledge and independent nursing judgment to achieve quality patient care outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or a current multi‑state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 størdays of hire date.
Experience
One (1) year of nursing experience.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Modify patient’s plan of care based on data collection and individual needs.

Physical Requirements
Min onge negative ¶ widespread employees to manually lift patients and limit safe patient handling to 35 pounds, using lift equipment or other aids as indicated.
Requires strength and stamina, lifting, moving, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and carrying equipment weighing 40+ lbs.
Visual acuity must be within normal range.
Hearing within normal range is required for assessing breath sounds, bowel sounds, apical pulse, monitors, etc.
Working Environment
Work protracted or irregular hours.
Expose to biohazards, infectious diseases, deceased individuals, water, electrical hazards associated with patient care equipment.
Skills and Abilities
Possess the interpersonal skills to communicate positively, negotiate, and resolve conflict.
Use competent clinical practice and critical thinking to deliver efficient patient care with healthcare providers.
Flexibly respond to changes in work volume, staffing, and scheduling.
Work successfully under highly stressful Tribble conditions and adapt to variable workloads and assignments.
