Position Summary FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a nationally recognized health care system located in central North Carolina. Responsibilities

Cardiac Rehab Dietitian

Work daily with patients diagnosed with cardiac disease in the hospital setting and patients attending the outpatient Cardiac Rehab program

Work on the floor during Cardiac Rehab sessions and is an integral part of helping patients set up exercise levels/intensities per the patient's individualized exercise prescription and documenting the patient's response to exercise during the Cardiac Rehab session.

Requires travel to other FirstHealth campuses

Qualifications

Master's Degree in a related Dietitian field for new graduates becoming licensed after 1/1/2024

Bachelor's degree in a qualifying field required.

NC Dietitian license required.

Experience in practicing therapeutic dietetics in hospital & community settings particularly in areas of lipid disorders, obesity, diabetes, cardiac critical care area, & hypertension preferred.

BLS certified.

Strong computer skills needed.
