Position Summary FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a nationally recognized health care system located in central North Carolina. Comprised of four hospitals (Moore, Hoke, Richmond, and Montgomery) with more than 600 beds, the system also offers leading-edge heart care in the Reid Heart Center, the area's only dedicated heart and vascular center. Our growing health system has more than 5,400 employees serving in more than 75 locations throughout a 15-county service area. In addition, the system provides home health and hospice services, emergency care, and medical transportation. FirstHealth of the Carolinas has over 50 primary care, specialty care, convenient care and dental clinics located throughout our service area.

Responsibilities
Cardiac Rehab Dietitian
Work daily with patients diagnosed with cardiac disease in the hospital setting and patients attending the outpatient Cardiac Rehab program
Work on the floor during Cardiac Rehab sessions and is an integral part of helping patients set up exercise levels/intensities per the patient's individualized exercise prescription and documenting the patient's response to exercise during the Cardiac Rehab session.
Requires travel to other FirstHealth campuses
Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related Dietitian field for new graduates becoming licensed after 1/1/2024
Bachelor's degree in a qualifying field required.
NC Dietitian license required.
Experience in practicing therapeutic dietetics in hospital & community settings particularly in areas of lipid disorders, obesity, diabetes, cardiac critical care area, & hypertension preferred.
BLS certified.
Strong computer skills needed.
