Job Summary:
We are seeking licensed Staff Pharmacists to join a closed‑door long‑term care pharmacy. The role focuses on prescription verification, compounding oversight, and ensuring accurate, compliant medication dispensing while supporting nursing facilities and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and review prescriptions for accuracy and compliance
Oversee sterile and non‑sterile compounding processes
Direct pharmacy staff in order processing, labeling, and fulfillment
Dispense medications and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff and prescribers
Maintain accurate records, inventory controls, and regulatory compliance
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Provide rotating shift and on‑call coverage as needed
Qualifications
Active Pharmacist license in good standing
Knowledge of prescription verification and compounding practices
Long‑term care or closed‑door pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication, accuracy, and teamwork skills
