Caregiver Part‑time – Daytona Beach
Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. We’re looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate caregiver to support a 35‑year‑old woman who values her independence andпа enjoys being out in the community. She’s looking for someone to provide companionship, help with running errands, go grocery shopping and join her on community outings. Light housekeeping is also part of the job, just to help keep her home clean and comfortable.
This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 per hour. Schedule: Monday‑Thursday from 3 pm‑7 pm. A dependable truck or car is required so you can accompany her out and about.
You will be a good fit for this position if you:
Have a positive outlook and contagious energy Demonstrate patience and compassion
Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role: Encourage and support the individual during home activities
Assist with personal hygiene
Prepare meals/snacks andייכ feeding assistance
Ensure the individual's safety and maintain a safe living environment
Perform light housekeeping tasks
Facilitate community involvement by accompanying the individual to social events, community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills Valid driver's license
Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
Have proof of a High School diploma or equivalent
Are 18 years of age or older
