Warehouse/Forklift Operator – Hood Distribution
Hood Distribution, a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings and related wood products located in Jacksonville, FL, is looking for a Warehouse/Forklift Operator.
Qualifications
Experience in warehouse operations and distribution, including operating electric forklifts.
Forklift operation certification preferred.
Knowledge of lumber and/or plywood preferred.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Capability to load and unload trailers.
Good math and customer‑service skills.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Required Screening
Background check and drug screen required.
All employment offers contingent upon meeting background check standards and successful drug test.
Documentation of legal right to work in the U.S. required for hire.
