Position Purpose At
Johnson Memorial Hospital , the Registered Nurses (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) deliver patient care to individuals in condition.
Employment Details Employment Type:
Part time ; Shift:
12 Hour Night Shift ; Position Highlights: Part time, 24hrs/night shift, every other weekend/holiday.
Responsibilities
Assume responsibility for critical care patients, conducting assessments, devising care plans, and adjusting critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels.
Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring, heightened observation, utilization of invasive equipment, and administration of intricate medication regimens.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
Valid RN license in Connecticut.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
One or more years of ICU, Critical Care, or Step Down nursing experience.
Minimum one year of acute inpatient nursing experience.
BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); ACLS certification, support available post-hire.
Benefits
