Position Summary
A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck and provides courteous, complete waste removal services. The driver maintains vehicle compliance with company safety standards, adheres to all regulatory requirements, and completes daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs). Principal Responsibilities
Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections to ensure proper tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, and controls. Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route, read route sheet, follow map, and service each customer as identified. Operate manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose of collected material at the designated facility. Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely, professional service. Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them in accordance with procedures. Monitor waste for unacceptable material and clean up spills per safety standards. Maintain vehicle readiness, cleaning waste from packer blade and truck body during each disposal trip. Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports. Maintain productivity standards and follow all safety policies and procedures. Actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP program and perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements
Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air‑brakes endorsement. Compensation and Benefits
