What You’ll Be Doing
Operate water truck to control dust on haul roads and work areas
Inspect and maintain water truck for safe operation
Monitor water levels and refill as needed to ensure continuous coverage
Communicate with quarry team to coordinate dust control activities
Follow all safety protocols and traffic patterns within the quarry
What Are We Looking For
Ability to safely operate water truck and related equipment
Strong awareness of safety standards and compliance requirements
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Capability to work independently in outdoor and variable conditions
Attention to detail in equipment checks and water application
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
What We Offer
$26.70 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
