Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Operate water truck to control dust on haul roads and work areas* Inspect and maintain water truck for safe operation* Monitor water levels and refill as needed to ensure continuous coverage* Communicate with quarry team to coordinate dust control activities* Follow all safety protocols and traffic patterns within the quarry**What Are We Looking For****Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level**What We Offer*** $26.70 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate* Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled* Ability to safely operate water truck and related equipment* Strong awareness of safety standards and compliance requirements* Effective communication and teamwork skills* Capability to work independently in outdoor and variable conditions* Attention to detail in equipment checks and water application
