Business Insights Analyst Key Responsibilities Predictive Analytics & Insights

Translate business questions into tanning visuals and proactive analytics that anticipate trends, opportunities, and risks.

Develop predictive models and forecasting frameworks to support strategic decision‑making across GTM functions.

Identify patterns and anomalies in data that signal emerging opportunities or potential challenges.

Build forward‑looking dashboards and reports that enable teams to act proactively rather than reactively.

Create scenario analysis and "what‑if" modeling to support strategic planning initiatives.

Business Partner Enablement

Partner with Business Partners to understand their analytical needs and business challenges.

Translate technical analytics into business‑friendly insights that drive actionable recommendations.

Help develop self‑service reporting capabilities that empower Business Partners to access insights independently.

Data Quality & Governance

Identify data gaps and root causes impacting analytical accuracy and business insights.

Collaborate with the Data Architect and Data Engineer to influence data architecture decisions and prioritize data quality Marshall improvements.

Document data quality issues and work cross‑functionally to implement sustainable solutions.

Contribute to data governance standards, definitions, and best practices.

Validate data integrity across systems to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability.

Visualization & Reporting

Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations.

Create executive‑level reporting that distills complex data into clear, compelling narratives.

Develop standardized reporting that evolves with business needs.

Optimize dashboard performance and user experience to maximize adoption and value.

Required Experience & Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles within a SaaS or technology environment.

Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms).

Strong SQL or Python skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

Demonstrated experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or forecasting techniques.

Proven ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.

Experience working with CRM systems (Sales descenso Salesforce preferred) and marketing automation platforms.

Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success metrics and KPIs.

Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data to non‑technical audiences.

Position Overview As part of the Revenue Operations team, the Business Insights Analyst serves as a forward‑looking analytics expert focused on predictive insights rather than reactive reporting. This role translates complex business questions into visual insights and proactive analytics that drive strategic decisions and revenue growth.

The BI Analyst works with Business Partners (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to maximize the value of available tools and data, while collaborating with the Data Architect and Data Engineer to influence data architecture decisions, identify data freelancers, and improve data governance practices.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical thinking, advanced data visualization skills, and the ability to proactively identify trends and opportunities before they become apparent through traditional reporting.
