Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Program hours: Office is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Mon – Fri. Overtime may be required during the audit period

Essential Responsibility and Role of a Bookkeeper : The Bookkeeper is responsible for specific operations of the fiscal department. Responsibilities include bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank deposits, journal entries, intercompany transactions, billing and tenants’ receivables, reconciliation of tenant balances and receipts, processing of leasing documents. The bookkeeper is also responsible for retrieving various documents to support entries for the annual audit.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: At least 60 college credits in a 4‑year Program, with at least 20 credits in Accounting courses, and a minimum GPA of 3.0 required.

Experience: 6 months to 1 year working in a busy office environment.

Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Excel. Experience using accounting software, Sage, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to access areas below first floor of main office building.
