Revenue Recognition Accounting Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Revenue Recognition Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and driving the financial success of our company. As a leader, you will guide a team of accountants, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the development of the company’s financial strategies.
Base pay range $120,000 – $140,000 per year

Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of revenue recognition, including billing, revenue recognition, and deferred revenue. Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards related to revenue recognition. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports, analyses, and forecasts.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.
Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and procedures in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
Guide and mentor a team of accountants to foster continuous learning.
Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes related to revenue.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to keep the company_sections ahead of changes affecting financial performance.
Participate in the development and execution of the company’s financial strategies.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve financial reporting, and enhance internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,_income, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
Minimum five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy industry.
In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards for revenue recognition.
Proven experience in intercompany accounting and transactions.
Excellent leadership and team‑management skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain complex financial information clearly.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong ethical standards andObserved integrity.
