This position is within the Office of Management and Finance (OMF), a team that helps keep Louisiana Works operating smoothly through key administrative functions. As a Human Resources Analyst, you’ll assist with a variety of HR activities such as payroll, benefits, and compliance while working with applicant tracking systems and other HR platforms. Three years of human resources experience; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR

A bachelor’s degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:

Support agency payroll processes and help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

Provide guidance and support to staff who manage timekeeping.

Generate reports to identify payroll discrepancies, assist with corrections, and support the recovery of overpayments.

Assist with employee benefits by serving as a point of contact for staff, retirees, and the Office of Group Benefits (OGB), helping answer questions and route issues appropriately.

Serve as a backup for retirement-related processes and provide cross-coverage for HR functions as needed.

Participate in HR projects, including system updates, online leave processes, reimbursements, and report preparation.

Support HR leadership on special projects related to payroll and human resources policies and procedures.
