Client Services Manager (Tax Operations & Tax Equity Investments)
Heirloom Tax Solutions is seeking a
Client Services Manager
to support the firm’s growing tax compliance, advanced planning, and tax-equity investment business. This role serves as the central coordinator across client experience, workflow management, and planning support—ensuring seamless execution for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and closely held business owners.
The ideal candidate has
at least three (3) years of experience working with High Net Worth (HNW) clients , understands complex tax workflows, and is comfortable supporting investment-driven tax strategies such as renewable energy, film finance, and charitable structures.
Core Responsibilities
High Net Worth Client Coordination
Serve as a primary relationship contact for tax compliance and tax-equity clients
Coordinate client onboarding, engagement letters, and annual planning calendars
Proactively manage document requests, timelines, and deliverables for complex client structures
Maintain a white-glove client experience consistent with Heirloom’s brand
Tax & Tax-Equity Workflow Management
Manage workflows for tax compliance, planning engagements, and tax-equity investments
Coordinate between Tax Director, CPAs, advisors, external preparers, legal counsel, and investment sponsors
Track deadlines related to tax filings, investment closings, and post-investment reporting
Prepare workflow summaries, investor relations updates, and status reports
Tax-Equity Investment Planning Support
Support planning related to tax-equity investments, including renewable energy credits (ITC), film finance, and charitable structures.
Assist with gathering, organizing, and reviewing client documentation
Support planning inputs, assumptions, and illustrations (non-CPA analytical support)
Internal Operations
Assist the Tax Director with capacity planning, utilization tracking, and engagement prioritization
Assist Tax Department with data entry for business and individual tax returns
Collect, organize, and quality-check tax and investment source documents
Maintain secure digital client files and investment records
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with High Net Worth (HNW) clients
Experience in tax operations, public accounting support, family office, business banking, or wealth management environments
Strong familiarity with complex tax structures, pass-through entities, and multi-entity clients
High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered
Experience working alongside CPAs, attorneys, and family offices
Experience with client management in a private bank, wealth management firm, or high net worth tax shop
Compensation Range
$60,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience and scope of responsibility
401(k) + company match of 8%
