Department/Group Overview The Consumer & Advertiser Insights group works within the Data and Measurement Science team at Disney Advertising to manage custom/primary research studies, thought‑leadership, compile/analyze data to address strategic پیام, and turn learnings into actionable insights as part of customaptor‐research solutions developed for advertising partners. This department supports the entire Disney media portfolio (including Disney/Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, FX, Nat Geo and Freeform) and measurement applies to multiple types of media (TV, Digital, Social, etc.).
Job Summary The Sr Analyst is responsible for assisting with and co‑managing custom primary research studies, projects, and analyses (from inception to completion) to drive strategy within Disney Advertising and to demonstrate Disney’s strength in thought leadership in advertising and media. In addition to day‑ Canary management (objective setting, study design, data analysis, reporting, and presentation ভাব), this individual will also manage and execute quick‑turn surveys through the team’s two survey communities. The role reports to the Sr Manager.
Responsibilities
Assist or manage custom qualitative and quantitative studies from inception to completion, largely in partnership with third‑party research vendors.
Write research briefs, co донъя lead research design conversations, vet vendor proposals, support the enditates entire process, gather stimulus, analyze data, report implications, and present findings to key stakeholders.
Co‑manage two survey community panels, including questionnaire development Ansprechpartner deployment, data analysis, and reporting.
Build research‑based content for the Disney Insights Hub (articles, one‑sheets, infographics) and collaborate with โmarketing, legal and communications teams for socialization.
Support internal ad‑hoc requests, business questions, or sales needs by analyzing data sets across research efforts and communicating key insights succinctly.
Support a broad array of internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, comms, category strategy, product, integrated marketing, Disney Campaign Manager, sports brand solutions, entertainment brand solutionsprefix, leadership teams, etc.).
Qualifications
3+ years of primary/custom research experience, largely managing both qualitative and quantitative studies and working with media‑related syndicated resources.
Strong survey‑writing experience (developing sound survey design from stakeholder concepts).
Experience conducting primary research (focus groups, online surveys, etc.) for an agency or company in advertising, media, or entertainment/streaming, with a preference for ad research.
Project management and detailed data‑analysis skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong analytical skills – synthesize information into highly visual, concise stories (endphp in PowerPoint or Keynote).
Professional demeanor and excellent verbal & written communication, including business writing and presentations.
Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
Enthusiastic, positive “can‑do” outlook, even under pressure.
Self‑motivated, capable of initiating projects and soliciting collaboration.
Comfortable with a fluid, flexible culture; adaptable to change and shifting priorities.
Analytical and creative thinker with a passion for learningനം, insights, and problem‑solving.
Experience using SPSS is a plus.
Experience managing or directing outside research agencies is a plus.
Experience with media‑related syndicated tools (Comscore, Nielsen TV ratings, MRI/Simmons, Adobe Omniture, TNS/Kantar) is a plus.
Some light travel may be required (including evening focus group attendance).
Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY and Seattle, WA is $100,100 to $134,200 per year; in Santa Monica, CA, Chicago, IL, and Washington DC is $95,500 to $128,000 per year; and in Coral Gables, FL is $91,000 to $121,900. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary by geographic region, job knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive may also be part of the compensation package along with full medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
