Job Details Overview: Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, responsible for safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and out of the facility.
Responsibilities
Stage cart in lift table, secure safety chain, and raise the table.
Fold linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting specified quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
Accurately verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type; place bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or shelves.
Maneuver full and empty baskets.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and observe best practices in all production activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understand written and verbal training instructions.
Basic math skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Meet attendance schedule.
Working Conditions Work is performed in a warehouse setting exposed to outside weather, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise. Shift schedule includes weekends; overtime is required as needed.
Requirements
High school degree or equivalent preferred.
